Property

The Group's real estate portfolio in Singapore comprises both residential and commercial properties.

While its forte is in the niche market of premier residential property developments, such as the completed Gallop Gables and Gallop Green condominiums in the prime residential area of District 10, the Group has also developed retail malls, office buildings and hotels such as the Great Eastern Centre, China Square Central, a commercial development with lettable area of 495,000 sq ft and Rendezvous Hotel, Singapore.

The Group has also developed Good Class Bungalows at another prime District 10 site at Cable Road and Nathan Road. In 2009, the Group completed the newly redeveloped Straits Trading Building. The 28-storey building costs S$60 million and was officially opened on 4 May 2010.

Gallop Green is an unique residential development that envelops the best in prestige living. Set amidst lush garden surroundings with private access to the Botanical Gardens, tranquility awaits. Gallop Green offers the best in lifestyle living with resort and recreation facilities, which will be appropriate for the entire family. Apartment units are available in three to five bedrooms layouts (2992 - 3757sq ft) and Townhouse units are available in four to five bedrooms layouts (4188 - 5102sq ft) to provide maximum living space for all in the family.

Five Chancery is another freehold project by the Group located at 5 Chancery Lane in District 11. The project consists of 12 exclusive strata bungalows, comprising 2-storey with attic and basement, each with private swimming pool, lift and two private carparks.

The Group also owned 14 units of high-end luxury apartments in The Holland Collection, a freehold residential development at 53 Holland Road.

Outside Singapore, Johan Kekal, the Group's 45.5%-owned associated company, has completed and sold off a quality residential project called Sri Bukit Persekutuan, opposite Kuala Lumpur Sentral, the new transport hub of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

In Ipoh, Malaysia, the Group formed a joint venture with Taiko Development Holdings Sdn Bhd, to develop the freehold Thompson-Flora Tropika Residences at Ipoh City Centre. Highly regarded as Ipoh's most coveted address to date, the limited double storey bungalows are sited on 13.14 acres within a guarded enclave located between Jalan Tun Dr Ismail and Jalan Kelab Golf and off Tiger Lane, and only about 1.5 km to the North-South Highway.
